Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is a procedure that uses a narrow tube similar to a telescope (3-5 mm in diameter) to visualize the uterine cavity. This narrow telescope is inserted through the vagina and cervix into the uterine cavity. The pathology of the uterine cavity is visualized on the screen and removed or a sample is taken from the uterine cavity, and the fallopian tubes can also be evaluated.
