About COVID-19 Testing Procedures

Please be informed that at the State Operational Medical Commission meeting on May 5, 2020, amendments to the COVID-19 testing algorithm were approved, and the provision included in Section 5 of the COVID-19 testing procedures approved at the State Operational Medical Commission meeting on April 24, 2020, which required testing all emergency department patients except children for COVID-19 infection, has been removed.
As of 05/06/2020, hospital emergency departments no longer test patients for COVID-19 infection.
