2. Session: course of childbirth, stages of labor, interventions. Lecturer: Midwife Valda Tamane
3. Session: postpartum period for mother, father, and baby. First hours and days with the newborn. Newborn care and breastfeeding, common problem situations in the hospital/at home. Interventions in the postpartum period. Lecturer: Midwife Māra Grieze
4. Session: possible birthing positions, breathing in each stage, natural pain relief methods during childbirth. Participation and support of the accompanying person. Lecturer: Midwife Liene Drauga
5. Session: birth with a uterine scar (women who wish to give birth with a uterine scar; planned cesarean section). Outpatient and inpatient care. Lecturer: Gynecologist-Obstetrician Baiba Pūcīte
